The all-electric Renault Scenic is an appealing family SUV, now offered at a temptingly low price

  • Great range
  • Spacious
  • Generous equipment levels

Renault reinvented its Scenic model back in 2023 as a modern, all-electric SUV that delivers great value for family drivers. The French manufacturer has managed to tick all the important boxes, which means the Scenic offers an impressive range, good interior space, and bundles of useful onboard technology that makes life on the road that little bit easier. It’s a comfortable place in which to spend time and safe, too, with a five-star EuroNCAP rating rounding off an impressive package.

This two-year PCH (Personal Contract Hire) deal from Blue Chilli Leasing, through our parent site Carwow, requires an initial payment of £3,380.98, followed by monthly instalments of £251.75. There’s a 5,000-mile annual limit, however, which you’ll need to consider, because otherwise you’ll incur extra mileage charges at the end of the finance agreement.

The Scenic model in this particular deal comes in Techno specification; it’s the entry trim level in the range although offers a huge amount of standard kit, including 19-inch alloys, front and rear parking sensors with a rear view camera, keyless entry, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, a power tailgate, a heating function for the front seats and steering wheel, and Renault’s openR link 12-inch multimedia display with Google built-in.

Interior space is important for family drivers, and the Scenic offers lots of clever, practical solutions. Its big 545-litre boot includes a sizeable area underneath that’s perfect for storing charging cables, while the cabin has a useful 6.6-litre storage cubby in the centre console. The central armrest features a pair of cup-holders, and there are stands that fold out to hold phones and tablets, plus a pair of USB-C charging sockets, too.

What’s equally appealing is that this Long Range model has a claimed maximum range of up to 379 miles, along with 150kW fast charging ability, which means it’s great for taking on longer journeys as well as shorter urban trips.
