This two-year PCH (Personal Contract Hire) deal from Carparison, found through our parent site Carwow, is offering a Hyundai Kona 65kWh model in sporty N Line trim for £229 a month. You will need to find £3,049.80 to cover the initial deposit, however, and the annual mileage allowance is 5,000 miles per year.

Mid-specification N Line trim is a sweet spot in the Kona lineup, and a worthy upgrade from the entry Advance version. It features 19-inch alloys, compared to the Advance’s 17-inch wheels, and also brings privacy glass, a power tailgate, a heating function for the steering wheel and front/rear seats, and a wireless phone charging pad. A 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard across the range.

The previous Hyundai Kona was one of our favourite all-electric cars, and voted by readers as the best electric car to own - so the new model, introduced in 2023, certainly had a lot to live up to. Fortunately, Hyundai has pretty much nailed the Kona’s successor; listening to customer feedback and improving the latest car in all the important areas.

The Kona now offers an enticing blend of space and comfort, along with the ability to travel more than 300 miles from a single charge, and when you consider its futuristic exterior, quality cabin and an altogether more refined feel, it has to be one to recommend. Yes, the second-generation Kona remains at the larger end of the small SUV class, but it uses a different platform to its predecessor which means it’s now bigger than before and a more practical proposition as a result.

The Kona’s increase in size brings a boost in practicality, with space for five people to travel in decent comfort. The boot capacity is now a sizable 466 litres, which trumps its Skoda Kamiq rival and contributes to a truly impressive EV package - so much so that you could look to the Kona as your next family car.

Hyundai claims this particular Kona model is good for up to 319 miles from a single charge, while its 215bhp and 255Nm of instantly available torque delivers a 0-62mph time of 7.8 seconds and a 107mph top speed.
